Default Flywheel flex??

How much if any, can a flywheel flex (on the outer most edge) when the clutch is being disengaged (clutch pedal pushed in). Especially with a heavy clamping pressure plate??? Flywheel is a monster SFI 28lb billet steel... Only mentioning manufacturer to further describe particular flywheel...Thanks

Better not flex at all cause it will negatively impact the "parallelness" of the friction surfaces. Then you will likely get slip or chatter.

LOL, that's a bit odd of a question but the answer is there is no "flex" in our billet steel flywheel during depression of the diaphragm spring.

Give me a call if you're having some issues and we'll answer all your questions you may have.
