Default Shiming Slave on f-body

Will a .050 shim make a noticeable diff in the clutch engagement point, just installed a Spec 2+. when I measured it the .125 that was provided was too much so didn't install it. Now it's real close to the floor disengaging, works fine shifts OK! but would just like a little bit more travel, thinking about just going with .050 and see if it would give me another 1/2" of petal.

Thanks

What are your "A" and "B" measurements? Let me know and I will be happy to help. Keep in mind that the fingers will raise as the clutch seats and wear occurs. Thanks!
