Default Clutch problem. I think!

Hey yall, last night I got on my car pretty hard to show off for some girls , but when I was going into 4th it wouldnt go into gear . The clutch wouldnt come up it just stayed on the floor. So, I rolled to the stop sign and tried to put it in first still no luck and the clutch was still funny it would move but it was almost like dead so I put it in neutral and let the clutch just sit and after about 1o seconds it was ok and the car went in gear fine. Does anyone know waht this could be? I need it fixed bad cause it's spring break and I dont want to have to sit at home with a broke down car.

Thanks a lot,
Blake

Mine turned out to be a bad pressure plate. Seems my car started doing that on Nitrous passes and now on N/A runs. I can duplicate the problem by going down the road in second and push the pedal down, REV TO LIKE 5000 and dump. The pedal will go away. Then come back. The longer I have had this issue the longer it takes to come back! So from my experiance I would say time to upgrade.

I had a very similar problem and it was the slave cylinder. Either way you gotta get in there and might as well do the clutch.
