What clutch to go with? Need opinions asap
I'm going to need to order a clutch by tomorrow afternoon. I've decided to replace the slave cylinder, master cylinder, add a remote bleeder and to buy a clutch. I have yet to buy anything. My car is stock besides Longtubes and it's going to remain stock for the next few months until the summer. I'm probably just going to do bolt ons and a tune, not looking for anything crazy like over 500hp. This car is my daily driver. Any opinions?

Monster clutch level 1 here, I just ordered mine from Steve at SNL Performance over the holidays to take advantage of the sale. I'm stock too and gonna get longtubes soon as well as a tune and lid. I would've went with the LS7 clutch but couldn't pass up the offer on the Monster sale.

I think the with the sale price it was $629 at monster, but I got the premium package that comes with the new slave for $70 more. I also bought the Tick Adjustable master, new pressure plate and flywheel bolts and the remote speedbleeder. Sounds like coloradospeed is offering it for alot cheaper, if I would've known that I would've bought mine off of them..I would jump on that, I think thats the cheapest I've seen it.

Yeah, if I didn't see the earlier thread with Colorado Speed's prices I wouldn't have even known about it, I called Tick and it went to voicemail, then called SNL and the guy was real helpful but the price was at $629 and I knew i saw a better price so I went ahead and called Colorado Speed and for $50 more than the $529 Level 1 I just went ahead and got the Level 2 package for $579.

Sounds like you had a heck of a deal! I would've went with the Level 2 as well if I knew coloradospeed was selling them at those prices! Dang, oh well, guess I gotta stick with the Level 1 for now. You gonna get the Tick adjustable master or stay with the stock one? When i spoke with Steve at SNL he said the stock master is fine if it isn't giving you any problems but I decided to go with the Tick for piece of mind and to be done with it the first time around. What part of Cali do you live?

Yup, I should've stayed with my stock master to save the extra $300+ I spent on the Tick but I said the hell with it and just bought it, I just wanted to do it right the first time and (hopefully) not have to deal with any clutch issues later. I'm in Sac...if you were closer I would've had you check out Sacfbodyz car club.
