This has been going on for awhile now so im hoping its nothing but i figured it couldnt hurt to ask. When I step on my clutch pedal I hear a whining sound not lound enough for me to worry but mabey I should ive never owned a LS1 before. Can anyone tell me what this is

 

I dont know if its the same but my car makes a winding sound when my foots off the clutch and its idling in neutral, and people told me its the throwout bearing

 

mine is also at idle. The noise is fine as soon as I press the clutch in I can hear it loud up aganst like a drivetru wall waiting to get food.
