New T56, What fluid to run???

I just picked up a new rebuilt stage 2 T56 from Jason at TDP. I just don't know what fluid I should run. Before I would always run the cheap stuff. What are you guys using and what do you recommend.

Dexron 3 any brand you want.

"stock" internals want Dexron 3. Your aftermarket unit may have diffrent materials that would tolerate other fluids like synthetic. Check with Jason

My $02 is any brand of Dexron 3

I asked Jason today what i should run in my Stage 3 rebuild and he told me non synthetic ATF. Does not have to be a specific version of Dexron. I would assume would be the same for Stage 2 but would be best to verify that.
