t56 guys making big power...COME IN!!
I'm building a motor for nitrous and hoping it will be in the 7-800+ hp/tq range on the bottle. Who builds a t56 to hold this? I don't want to have to have it face plated etc. Every place I look has a stage "x" that only holds up to around 750 rwtq. Help a dummy out guys. Thanks!

I have a RPM level 5, I love it! Been one year in the car now and it still feels exactly like the first time I drove with it. Only making 350rwtq right now and intend to put about 500rwtq through it. I'm not sure how much it will hold but with a oil spray for the shaft, 800ish torque will be the max I THINK. Hopefully, Jeremy will post in this thread when he sees it. I highly recommend RPM trans. Give them a call they will hook you up with whatever you need.

TDP can build you a nice T56 that can hold that power as well.
They are in Texas and a sponsor on here.
Basically running a stock output/main shaft 27 spline setup with upgraded carbon blockers, billet keys, bronze fork pads, steel 3/4 shift fork and assuming everything else is in good health.... is good to about 600-650rwhp.
At that point if you are racing it and are making more you should upgrade to either a Viper 30 spline or a custom 31 spline setup. That should be good to 900-950rwhp. Beyond that the gears themselves are the weak link and you buy GForce billet gears ($$$$).
A clutch that is designed for racing and not super grabby will save parts breakage. ie.... slips a tiny amount instead of instantly grabs and shocks the driveline. A sprayer on the front counter shaft (drill/weld a bung there) will also prolong life on hard launch setups as the oil pools at the back of the trans case allowing the front to heat up.
In hindsight.... just buy a Magnum TR6060 new.
