Default Too much clutch for my application?

Right now Im building my chassis and driveline on my ws6. I plan on running full bolt-ons for awhile. Currently Im planning on sending my t-56 to rpm for their stage 5 build, I want to do the clutch while Im in there. I do plan on doing h/c/i in the future but thats a while fown the road. Hoping for 450-480 whp. Im looking at the monster stage 2 clutch. Will this be too much clutch for my bolt-ons car? I daily drive it currently willing to say around 350whp. Will using this clutch be ok until I do my heads and cam swap?

Would a monster stage 1 or ls7 clutch be a better option?

I'd personally stay away from an LS7 unless your on a tight budget. I can't speak for monster but I have a TDP stage 2 and it's definitely not too much clutch. Feels very close to stock but with a slightly heaver pedal. I think the feel really changes when you go to a 'puck' setup.

I don't mind a heavy pedal I'm a young guy I can handle a heavy clutch lol. I'm more worried about possible over kill that could damage the drive train.

you will be fine, after all you want to leave some room for future mods.

I am pretty sure the Stage 5 reference was relative to the transmission build...not the clutch. That being said I am sure you would be happy with one of our offerings too! Take a look at the link below, the 2 or 2+ would be a great option. Let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks!

That was the plan. I plan on having bolt ons until my drivetrain is sound then doing a h/c/i swap hoping for 450-480 at the wheels.

When you say TDP clutch, are you talking about the diamond clutch?

Ok. I have the same clutch on a pretty much stock 5.3/t56 Colorado. Very easy to dd.

Level 2 Monster will suit your needs perfectly, will drive literally like stock, and is designed to be abused. We've got cars running high-10's with these and no issues.
