Basically you are just trying to get the heat out of the clutch/transmission because it will help maintain and extend the life of everything.

Bringing this thread back to life to ask, for anyone who has done this can anyone update or confirm if this bell-housing mod works/worked for them?

Well i can say that if you have been seeing what others are doing with the C7 z06 and all them are having issues and putting in other clutches etc.
I did this mod to the '15 and regularly blow it out after a hard track day and I have about 10+ 1.4x 60' and still going strong with over 710RWHP and 720RWTQ. 3700lb race weight.

Hi Jeremy, thanks for the response

So for a 98-02 F-Body Bellhousing you recommend 3 holes starting on driver side going down to the bottom of the bell housing, just like the picture you posted here?

Do you recommend another hole going towards the passenger side as well and what size 1" or 1.5"?

Can anyone post before and after pictures? Seems many have tried it, but we only have microsoft paint images of where to put holes or something. Wanting to try this with my 01 camaro to see if it will help a sticking pedal possibly.

I'd look for other issues first on the sticking pedal including adjustments to the clutch pedal throw. If the hydraulic system is fairly old it may be time for new slaves. Is your clutch fluid clean? If not, that's the first thing I'd address with a system bleed or the "ranger clutch protocol" (google it). I service my clutch fluid every 1K miles, not that it necessarily needs it.

Done what. He reccomends blowing the dust out of the bell housing and keeping the fluids clean.

Drilling holes in your transmission seems arbitrary
