Picked up a Spec Stage III couple of months ago for my project and getting ready to put it all in next weekend and saw somebody say the didnt shim there throughout bearing and it tore up the clutch. Any body got any ideas on weather or not I need to shim the throughout bearing? Thanks

I have some serious concerns about shimming the slave cylinder. Hopefully I will be able to post some pictures this afternoon (wife permitting!) but do search the threads on here...

spec clutches should include and require a shim

you should really measure either way just to be safe

Problem is, I bought the clutch used with very low miles and that all that i got was the clutch/flywheel that was balanced. I didnt get any of the shims.
