Yes the LS7 Clutch has the Very BEST driveability & its the most reliable clutch for a 500rwhp Street-Daily Driving car...We have sold close to 2500 of these clutches, and I can count on one hand how many were bad or defective...Now thats reliablity, NO aftermarket clutch company can make those claims, NOT even close...

Swapping an LS7 clutch into my CTS-V is near the top of my mod list. Your price seems pretty good, but I'm looking for a lighter flywheel than the OEM LS7 FW. Can you do a RAM flywheel (like Scoggin Dicky) for this price?

We have all the correct parts needed to do a clutch swap the right way for your CTS-V...We do NOT offer a lighter flywheel for our LS7 Clutch Kits...You might want to think very seriously before installing a light weight setup in a CTS-V...Those cars are much heavier than F-body or Corvette...
Give me a call...
thanks

I called Mike on Saturday and he sat down and took time to discuss all my options for my car. After explaining to him my situation and my goals etc. Mike came up with a package deal for me. I will be getting the LS7 setup with master and slave. I ordered at 6:05pm on saturday (they close at 6) and Mike assured me my setup would ship out first thing Monday and be on my doorstep on Wednesday. Couldn't be happier/ more excited and I don't even have the clutch yet. Will let you know how much I like it, but so far EXCELLENT SERVICE... Mike is EXTREMELY knowledgeable in this area and saved me some money to boot! THANKS MIKE!!!

I called Mike the other day regarding the LS7 setup and got his informed opinion on the option of the 19lb RAM flywheel. He was very helpful. Mike, sorry I had to hang up while on hold. I had another call come in and I'd waited about 10 minutes so I thought maybe you forgot about me.
Anyway, perhaps this would be a good place to explain your experience (or your customer's experience) with the issue of pedal height when the LS7 clutch, fly, slave, etc are installed on our applications. There are plenty of threads on the topic, but I think lots of us that are on the fence about this mod (like me) would like to hear your experiences and opinions. Are your installers doing anything to prevent the pedal from engaging way down at the floor? Some people are saying that after X number of miles the action comes back up a bit, but ive read other reports where people are having high RPM shifting problems (being locked out of gear and unable to shift) because of this. What are your thoughts on this? Any experiences? Perhaps a small "spacer" would be ideal for the LS7 slave?

I tried to call you back a couple of times and it went to a fast busy, sorry...
What you have posted here would probably be best posted in our for sale thread in the Cady CTS-V section...but I''ll give you 3 of the biggest mistakes people w/CTS-V's make...
1. I'm not trying to beat my chest here, but they dont buy it from me/us(Mike Yeager), and if they did buy it from me they would get many tech tips on making sure they dont have ANY problems!!! ALL of our customers NEVER have any issue's...We are a Full Sevice shop, we do this kind of work every day, so we know exactly what works and what doesn't!!!
2. They dont buy or get All the Correct parts needed!!!
3. They dont bleed the slave & master enough to get ALL the air out, when this happens and they go drive the car it causes the pressure plate to try and re-adjust its self to compensate for the lack of fluid pressure...This does not come up in discussions because most people dont know how the OEM LS6 & LS7 Clutches work...
They have adjustable pressure plates (a)mainly because it extends the life of the clutch, this is exactly why the LS6 & LS7 Clutches will out last ANY aftermarket clutch by 3-4 times...(b)this is also why 99% of the time you will NOT have to shim the slave...(c)and yes if everything is replaced/installed & bleed correctly the pedal will feel better after a few miles of normal driving...
I hope this helps alittle, if anyone has any questions Please dont hesitate to Call me anytime....
