Pedal Still sinks after Tick's Master Cylinder Install
Hey guys like the title says my pedal still sinks to the floor during wide open shifting after a few shifts. I have a really firm clutch pedal and the reservoir is full. My pedal after the install sits a little below the brake pedal but it shifts really smooth part throttle and wide open until 2-3 or 3-4 depending if i launch from a dig. It actually fixed my sticking second gear which surprised me because i thought it was a bent shift fork! But should i try adjusting the pedal out a little bit more to compensate for the sinking? Any input would be appreciated i'm trying to race later this evening

It honestly sounds like there is air in the lines still in order for it to be sinking. Here are some things to check:
1. Ensure that your system has been bleed and free of ANY air.
2. Ensure you have no leaks anywhere in the system (check Bleeder, and quick disconnect going into the slave)
3. Make sure that you have removed the spring from the pedal
4. Make sure you are using DOT 3 Fluid

did you replace the slave while you were in there? also, did you just top off the hydraulic fluid, or did you flush it all out & refill with all-new fluid?
if you did a full flush/refill, and everything else that Chris metioned is good, the slave could just be trashed, or at the very least, on its way out.

Alright guys i tried bleeding it again and still no luck. Yea i was under the car having my friend pump the pedal 10x times then i cracked and closed the valve on the slave. And yes every time we did so we topped off the fluid. The clutch pedal feels really firm (part throttle) its not spongy like it would be if there was air trapped in the system. Maybe i could bring the pedal out 2 more turns and go from there? It does seem to shift alot smoother under acceleration just after two shifts it seems to start to sink back down like before. But 2-3 shift is amazing if i start from a roll. Not sure what to do here maybe it could be the slave or i could bring the pedal out for a longer stroke which means more force lol

high rpms is where i'm getting my drop. When you say your passed your brake pedal which way do you mean? lower or higher than your brake? Mine is set about half inch below the brake pedal and it felt great last night until i got some wide open shifts in. The tranny still feels notchy going into gears sometimes not sure if the tick would take that away or not. But don't get me wrong i am not blaming this on Tick so dont think i'm giving a bad review i just want the problem resolved so i can race lol

Doesnt make sense if the springs and fingers lost their strength it would be all the time during every wide open shift you would think. This is a gradual loss. But i called Chris and im going to try to back the pedal out to be even with the brake pedal which is maybe 4-5 turns and see if that fully releases the clutch.

It's rpm related. the higher the sustained rpm the more time the fingers have to suck in. what happens the is your hydraulic release bearing cannot reach the PP and the PP cannot push your pedal back.

Update so i ran my car and made some adjustments and everything seems to be fine now. I ran a 13.4 at 107.5 on street tires without a tune with a 2.1 60'. Not bad i guess just need some radials and a tune and i should be seeing 1.9x and trapping 109-110
