so after a night at the track, my 80k mile clutch is on its last leg. i think when it was breathin from the dark side of the moon really killed it
so i was lookin at putting a centerforce or ram clutch in it. my question is, do i need to get the flywheel cut? i dont think it needs it but i wont know for sure til i pull it out. its my daily driver in the summer so i cant have sitting while the machine shop cuts the flywheel. also i guess it would be a good idea to replace the slave cylinder? and install a shim?

The flywheel should be resurfaced since it breaks in with the new clutch. If you have the money you should replace the slave. I think you can get them from Autozone for like $70 and they are made by AP, the same people who makes them for GM. You will need to measure to see if you need a shim. So to avoid downtime you could buy a shim set so it's ready in case you need one.
