Question PO803 (1-4 Upshift Solenoid) NEED HELP!! THANKS

My service engine soon light turned on and it read PO803 (1-4 Upshift Solenoid), any one have an idea on what I got to do to get rid of the service engine light. I have the T56 6 Speed Transmission. Thank you, Really need the help. I have a 2001 Camaro SS.

Check the skip shift solenoid connection on the drivers side & mid -case. If there is an eliminator/ restistor pack used, it may be bad.

So if I get the skip shift eliminator for it, the service engine soon light should go out right?

Yes ,if you reset it. The computer looks for the resistance load of the solenoid coil. Unplugged, it sets a code. If the resister pack in the eliminator go bad( they do sometimes) the code is the same.
