ZO'6's came with the LS7 clutches ,,,right?

and they came with OEM master's just like whats we have ,,,right?

well did they suffer from the same problems as we do?

lock out 2nd gear @ high RPM shifts?
pedals hangin on the floor
shifting problems?

basically the same **** we deal with...

DID THEY SUFFER ALSO?

C5Z = LS6 Clutch
C6Z = LS7 Clutch

My guess is that most stock Vette / Z owners don't drive their cars very hard (or often), so they don't experience a lot of the issues that Fbody owners do.

no way!....

I dont drive my car hard at all but when I do feel like getting on it...I have all the crappy *** problems.

so i know most ZO owners feel the need the need for speed!...LOL

why the hell have a car like that if you dont wanna get on it every now and then.

reason im asking is cause im switch to an OEM LS7 clutch kit w/ everything
and cant see why i would still have problem when and if they dont.

I've read some of the c5 guys having issues but curious about the c6 world too. Monster clutch, new stock master drilled out.. no issues.

I know c5 guys had the same issues, basically it boiled down to keeping their clutch reservoirs clean. Most owners would use a turkey Baster method sucking the old fluid out of the master a few times before a track day to be sure the fluid was cleaned

Quick Reply: did ZO6's have the same clutch problems like f-body's
