Cody, I have the factory hurst in my car. Had a pro 5.0 stick, I recently changed it to a shorter one I made though. I'm probably kinda late on this but you can always check it out if you want

The shortened Pro 5.0 handle is just like the UMI short stick FYI.

The more I drove the Pro 5.0, the more I realize that it really wasn't an upgrade over the Hurst. Seems like unless you want to pay for the MGW, the Hurst is the way to go.

Yeah got his motor in, had some issues though.. FML.

Got everything in, bolted up and connected, new fluids and everything, and his clutch has no pressure whatsoever. Haven't messed with it in a couple days. So glad my car isnt FWD.

Anyway if you want you can check it out whenever, if you'd rather see how it is with the 5.0 stick I can always swap it out..just let me know

^^^ question... Are you saying the Pro5.0 is similar to the Factory Hurst? Or Hurst Billet Plus? Not sure which you wer talking about.

nah ill just check out the hurst. im off tomorrow and today after 530. yeah man im love rwd so much easier and personaly fun to drive. What exhaust you have? few months ago when i saw you by walmart and reved it sounded good

BBK long tubes w/off road y, magnaflow catback. The catback was on the car when I got it, I may get something else later, I can meet you sometime if you want, just text me

you put the headers on yourself? if so how hard? i was looking at the obx headers with the y with a loudmouth exhaust.

As far as my experience, the Pro 5.0 feels similar to the factory Hurst. I did buy my Pro 5.0 used, so I don't know if it could be a bit worn out, or just broken in. As far as the Billet Plus, I don't have an experience with that.

The Pro 5.0 is a nice shifter, but I would spend the extra few bucks and buy the MGW.

Put the headers on myself in the driveway. Really wasn't bad just took a little time. Backed the car up ramps and put the front on jack stands and got after it

^^^ a little off topic... But how was the fit for the BBK? not a fan of BBK but I'm a fan of the price. Any install issues?

i cant speak for him in particular but a lot of people myself included love the fitment on the bbk's mine slid right in and have great clearance.

Yeah the bbks fit great, I wasn't really a fan of getting "cheap" headers but my car is a daily driver and its lowered, so I'm not trying to make the most power I possibly my can. I got the bbk because everyone said they fit well and had good clearance, both of which are the case.
