I would go with the stock LS6 clutch. Very affordable and stock feeling obviously. SummitRacing has the Fly/press/clutch combo for cheap!

If you have upgrades planned for the future, I would spend a $100 or so more and go LS7 or another $150 and go Monster.

I have a Texas Diamond Stage 2 and it is great. I had to get used to the stock clutch feel again after having a spec stage 3. car is so much easier to drive and my wife loves it also.

Our Stage 2 and 2+ kits offer great drivability and increased capacity too. Take alook at the link below and let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks!

Effort is within 10% of the stock unit but engagement is going to be more positive, less vague, and better in terms of feel and progressiveness. The stock plates are SAC (self-adjusting) and these are known to have an artificial feel and inconsistent engagement. Let me know if you need anything else and I will be happy to help! Thanks,

Ive had a spec 2 in my car with heads and cam with the aluminum flywheel. It felt great. When I put the 408 in I put a 3 and put a new friction surface on it. Love it. Peddle is effortless. The squeel is like what others have said. Its just glazed. A hard run on it and its fine.

Jadedbird - I've responded to your complaints in another thread, give me a call and we'll go over your issue.

To the OP, it really depends on what your future mods will be, we can surely get you into a Monster that will easily support your needs and drive like a stock unit - and not go limp or slip like the OEM LS6/7 clutches.

Give us a call and we'll get you taken care of.
