T56 stuck to bell housing
I am in the middle of putting a new clutch into my 2000 z28. I have the drive shaft and everything out. I got all 8 15mm blots that hold the trans to the bell housing and assumed it would slide right back. Turns out the trans is stuck like glue to the bell housing.
Any one have suggestions on how to get them unstuck?

Like mentioned you can try to wiggle it or you can try to get a pry bar in there. Only other suggestion would be to bolt it back up and let the tranny sag down some and unbolt the bellhousing from the engine and pull it all out as one piece.
Sometimes the input shaft will just be stuck in the pilot bearing and it takes some patience, muscle, and lots of mad shaking and cussin lol.

GOT IT! I just wiggled and hit it with the bp blaster in the old bolt holes. It was stuck on the two dowel pins. Once it gave way the whole trans fell out and came down hard on my crotch. But its finally off. Thanks for the advice lol
