Since working with him I sent every person I could to him, and they have all had a good experience as me.
Just to clear a few things up, I can tell you what we offer that makes our builds unique:
The website is inaccurate. We actually have all our own upgraded parts CNC-machined locally. We now offer hardened bronze shift fork pads for 1-4 & shifter cup bushing (5x stronger than conventional bronze), and billet chromoly 3-4 keys (1-2 keys are coming soon). To my knowledge, these parts are unique as no one else offers them.
We also get the mainshaft 5/6 journals re-sized to tighter specs. From the factory, the 5/6 gear tends to work loose and cause high speed vibration problems. With our repair/upgrade, this will never happen.
Cryo treating is usually un-necessary. This is only for the customer who is trying to squeeze every last bit outta the trans, sparing no expense. We do offer it, but I usually talk more people out of it.
Our starting price on a Stg2 build is $800, which includes the steel 3/4 fork, billet 3/4 keys, and hardened bronze 1-4 shift pads/isolator cup.
Also, we give you our cost on shipping back and forth, which is usually $150-200 for the round trip.

Looking at your Stg. 2 it sounds identical to our stage 1. We also include shipping to and from the customer in our 999.99 price of our stage 1 transmission and all of our other transmission packages include shipping to and from the customer in the price.
Glad to hear there are two quality T56 builders on this site for our customers to choose from.

Go back and look closely and you'll see what Im talking about. My Stg2 isn't listed on my site accurately so no way to compare it to any other "Stage XX" build. AFAIK, I'm the only one with the hardened bronze (I may be wrong though) and I have never seen any of the other "billet" keys made of chromoly alloy. There are actually a handful of different types of billet keys on the market. From what I've seen, you guys use the same keys that the Gearbox sells. I just don't like that design, since you have to use special springs for them to work, as there is no slot for the stock springs to go into. So I designed and had my own type CNC machined.
Finally, I've never seen any other builder do the mainshaft 5/6 journal mod.

I'd be willing to bet though that we do something similar to the 5/6 mainshaft journals, as you said just because it isn't on the site doesn't mean it's not being done
. If there is a trick to know about these transmissions Jonathan or our trans builder who we stole away from Kevin Harvick's race team most likely already know about it
. Jonathan doesn't have much time to stay on here though as busy as we stay all the time, but I have forwarded this thread to his inbox, he would be able to tell it better than me. Jason at TDP charges $100 for his 5/6 Gear Vib.fix & you keep your gears that are already wear mated to each other[if they are good],I also had a Stg 2 build with a couple of other issues fixed all with his hardened parts .
The $700 I saved on my 5/6 Vibration Repair paid for almost ALL my other work, this was HUGE for me !
My Lmtr is at 7200RPM & I shift a@ 6800 RPM & the Trans shifts Flawlessly !I have also fully checked the 5/6 Gear Vib. RPR as of last Fri Nt. when a '04 Cobra Pullied to 14lbs of boost with a Full Exhaust wanted sum ..... we ran from a 40 mph hit all the way to 135mph with NO MORE Vibration ! !....oh ye I put 6 + cars on the ....."Supercharged Cobra "
