I hope that its good - cause I just ordered one. mine isn't a daily driver but I do drive it alot and take it to the track 2 or 3 times a year. From the research Ive done its strong enough for bolt ons and smooth enough to live with for everyday driving. Still interested in the opinions of others though

I am very confident that you will love it! I'm sure others will also chime in about the drive-ability as well. It's a very easy clutch to daily drive with. We even have guys daily driving out Level 3 clutches. Let me know what you think once you get it installed man!

Can you confirm if your clutches are in the Corvettes at TMS, Total Driving Experience?

If they are and are Level 2 like I think, then I can chime in and say they feel absolutely like stock.

When buying a complete kit, do you have to do any shimming? I am getting the full kit with slave for a 2000 Trans Am T-56 and wanted to know if it was needed.

I didn't need to shim mine luckily.

Does this person have experience with both? If not, it would be in your best interest to speak with someone who does to get a good comparison. I've heard good things about monster clutches (I'm currently doing research on clutches for my next purchase), but have never used one. I know very little about the centerforce clutches, so I can't comment there.

I know you haven't mentioned them, but my experience with SPEC was not good at all. Bought a stage 3 several years ago and it crapped out after less than 8k with only 2 track passes. I'm not rough on my car at all either on the street.

I will be doing mine in a few weeks once I return home. I am having an issue with my trans locking me out of all gears when I shift in high RPM's. Hopefully everything goes well with this and that the clutch and slave are my issue. Thanks for the help.

Could be the shifting forks. It's not "uncommon" with these t56's. As always...Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.
