Default Car will sometimes lockout first gear

Hi all my t56 is rebuilt and back in the my 01 z28, I reused the new stock ls6 clutch that was in it (maybe had 200 miles on it). Anyway everything seems to be good although I have mnoticed that VERY seldomly I push in the clutch at a stop I cannot select 1st gear.

It doesnt grind it just wont let me in. So I let the shifter go back to center and push in the clutch again, at this point it always falls right in with no issue. Could this be a pressure plate issue or hyraulic issue? I highly doubt its in the tranny because everythings new and it never grinds like I said, it even downshifts perfectly to 1st. The car also has a tick m/c fwiw

Make sure your system is bled 100% and go back and readjust your master cylinder using our instructions, which can be downloaded on the website.

How many miles are on the T56 rebuild? We normally suggest 400-500 miles as a break-in period.
