Default Keeps eating Slave cylinders...

I have a LS1/T56 combo in my 93 s10. It has been on the road for about 2 years. Ive put close to 20k miles on it total. I just put the 3rd slave in it. (1st one started leaking and 2nd one lost pressure and pedal went to the floor)Im using a GM slaves. Can I be doing something wrong or do i just need to get another brand slave?

Thanks Adam

What does the fluid look like in the reservoir? Is it dark or discolored? Have you replaced the Master?

Cant recall the fluid but i just helped him with the 3rd slave and we replaced the master before we did the slave thinking it was the master first.

Are you flushing the system on a regular basis to avoid contamination of the slave from the old/dirty fluid?

I'd take some careful measurements. It sounds like as the clutch is wearing you're over-extending the slave. You may need to shim the slave.

Just my $.02
