Default T56 rebuild with c5 trans

I got my hands on a c5 transmission witch I switched out 2,3,4 gears. Question I have and just noticed is 3-4 gear is very tight as it feels like its hung up. I looked on tickperformance and 4th gear has the input shaft on it and there are 2 different shafts...z06/gto and 98-02 ls1... Is this thing going to live threw another 100 miles or should I be fine? Thanks in advance

There is a 31 tooth 2.66 ratio input shaft and a 29 tooth 2.97 ratio input shaft. The two do not interchange if that is what you are asking.

What are you bumping? You didn't ask a question that anyone can understand.

If you do have a question, it's a good idea to list as much information as you can about your situation. Donor car & model year, part numbers, vehicle the trans is in now, etc. Did you do the work? It doesn't sound like it since you say "I" replaced 2,3,4 gears but only after searching the internet did you find out that 4th gear is the input shaft.. (which is also not entirely correct)

Does it seem like it sticks in one gear and pops out of the other? A bent 3-4 shift fork is very common in these trannys.
