well just on the way home from school met up with a black g8, he took off and i decided to just take off too, was in 3rd gear going about 50, well i started getting up to 6k rpm's, shifted 6-6.5k, well after i shifted and went to gas it again it kind of felt like the rear end kind of just slid a bit to the left so i let of the gas and pressed in the clutch, does this sound like an issue? i maybe kind of power shifted (didnt let off the gas all the way?)

since i bought the car there has always been a sort of clanking or whatever in the rear when going really slow and turning (parking the car) idk if this miss-hap did anything or maybe it was my imagination just going to the worst case scenario, that something happened when i shifted?

bump, anybody have a clue? seems to drive like normal/like before, just want to know what it could have been, mini burnout at those speeds? possibly shifting at too high an rpm?
