Default Monster Twin Discs

I've been getting some questions about these lately so I thought I'd post some pictures up of a very loyal Tick customer who was kind enough to send me some pictures of his Level 2 that arrived to him today about 7-8 days after he ordered it from us.

His basic set-up is as follows:
HKE 454
LSX block
TEA TFS 245's
11.4:1 hydraulic roller
Mamo-ported 102mm
2" Kooks, 3.5" Y-pipe
Tick level 3 Viper T-56, Tick master, Tick remote bleeder, Tick battery relocation kit
Moser 9", aluminum center section with locker and 4.11's

He decided to go with the Level 2 as it met his needs for power output and drivability. His combination makes 583/531 and as you can tell is pretty damn stout.

I thought this would help provide some potential future buyers of this new line-up of clutches an example as to what they could use to gauge what they need by.

Enough of me talking here are some pictures....

If anyone wants some detailed pictures of something specific I can probably arrange that.

If your on the fence about one of these just give us a call or an e-mail and we can give you some details and suggestions for your set-up!

I can't wait to see what you think about it, and I'm interested in what the pedal feel is like with our master. Hopefully it performs as good as it looks!

We do NOT recommend a 7/8" bore master at all for any reason. The guys at Tick can sell you a 3/4" bore master for my twins that works great.

I had a customer go 9.77's on a twin last weekend in a full weight fbody, we'll keep you updated on that as we progress.

I will tell you that in my RX-7 the 7/8" that was in there was WAY too stiff but enough throw. The 3/4" wasn't enough (as I think the pedal throw is longer in the fbody). The 13/16" ended up working without being overly stiff. I just wish I could have used the 3/4". That was a Nice pedal feel. :-)

Still haven't finished the break in yet.

That's how it is with the LS Miata units. I had to go back to a 7/8 master after trying the 3/4 and it not having enough throw.

I am strongly considering putting in a shim so I can run the 3/4" master I have. Just waiting on some input from steve on shim thickness or if it would even work. I'll let you guys know.

At that power I'd run an 11" ceramic or a level 6, depending on driving style and habits.

Call us and we'll get you squared away.
