Default 2 STEP or NOT at TRACK ?

Who is runnin a 2Step & what is your best launch RPM or do you like leavin on the LMTR ?
Yes I did a search for 2 step ..... nuthin .

Set mine at 6k was cutting 1.56 60ft with less than 400 rwhp next time out its going to 6500 to 7k. Have more power now and lighter

I use one. You can set it to what the track is holding. Some street nights 5000, prepped days 6500.

My car is 3506lbs with me in it.I have been leavin on the lmtr at 7k but not very consistant.
Checkin to see what is working the most . Thanks for all the replies !

I just have mine hooked up to a hidden valet switch as a 2500rpm limiter.

btw, what is this doing in the manual trans section?

BTW My car is a Manual Transmision Car ,1972 SS Camaro LS1 6 Speed ......just figured this was the place to ask this question ? If not we can move it

If you dont me asking what 2step do you have? I never thought of using it as a limiter for when i have somebody else drive it!

The MSD 8733. It's the easiest install I've ever done of anything.

I used the ground wire activated, hooked it up to a switch and grounded the other side of the switch.

That is very cool!

I also have the MSD 2 step. Easy install, adjustment and works great at the track although I haven't had too much seat time with it.

I sell a ton of those MSD limiters. They are so simple to hook up!

I have the lingenfelter lnc-003 & I like it. Makes for consistent launches & prevents overreving when wot shifting. IMO more of a must have for a stick car than a shift light. Lingenfelter unit is fairly simple to install, did have to wire in a relay.

If your racing a stick a 2 step is a must. Hard to cut a light and watch your rpm's. Plus you can use it to get a better 60ft and be able to do it everytime

WHAT ARE U LEAVIN AT ? Nice 10.65 pass ,I am 460 rwh 405rwtq & have been leavin on the lmtr at 7k with just 1 trip to track on new susp setup .
