Another question, i'm sure this might sound a bit noobish but with these clutches, (Level 1 Triple in particular) in an 02 TA T56, if I were to later upgrade the tranny to say a TR6060 would this clutch swap right into the new Tranny?

What are your thought on the new twin disks compared to other twin disks?

450-500rwhp '02 T/A that's a daily driver. Rarely ever goes to the track.

Which would you recommend? The Level 2?

I am currently running an LS7 clutch, but did like the Spec 3 I use to have, as well. Will the Level 2's stiffness be comparable to the Spec 3 I use to run?

Will it be fine for a daily driver?

What is the break-in period?

This ....

http://www.coloradospeed.com/monster...s-p-12532.html

Keep the regular flywheel
get the gm pressure plate and flywheel bolts
if you haven't replaced the slave cylinder, get it.

comes with an alignment tool and pilot bearing already so that is not listed as an option.

we like to see break in periods of around 200 miles. thanks.

Yea, I figured I'd replace the master cylinder and slave while I was at it.

The clutch will, however you will need to measure everything to make sure it does have the same dimensions for the slave travel

Please elaborate on the 18lb vs. 28lb. options. Just placed my order today and was recommended the 28lb. Then I read countless post about which is better and second guess my decision a bit. Give us a call @ 817-750-2000 and we'll explain the pro's/con's of both based on what you mainly do with the car

For those of you that have ordered... how's the shipping going? I ordered on the 30th and have yet to receive a confirmation shipping email. The latest email was on November 1st and just says that the order is being processed. The car goes under the knife at the end of the week and I'm really needing to have a clutch ready to go in the car.

I ordered on the 31st and so far all I've recieved is an invoice. I'm not sweating it yet becuase of the free shipping plus the discount. Plan on giving it till Friday, if by I haven't recieved shipping info, or at least some sort of info by then, I'll call just to get an estimate on when to expect my order.

Good luck. But I may can save you the trouble. I asked for a shipping estimate as well and the question was skirted.

I cannot specifically say right now. We're getting them out like we did last week in order of received and a lot will be shipped out this week. We have alot of guys who ordered at the last minute towards the end of the month and expected it to be shipped quickly. Unfortunately to be fair, we're shipping orders in order of receipt. Thanks
Knowing the exact date... fine, no biggy. But to fail to even give an estimate or a heads up that it may take a week or two to ship? hm. interesting.

Obviously with the sale we had a ton of clutches ordered and our shipping department has been swamped!

I'm beside myself at the response you guys are saying you're getting. As the owner I'd like to know who you've talked to so I can address that issue with my employee. If you would like a timeline call in and ask, if you don't like the answer you're getting ask for me directly (Steve) and I'll be more than happy to research it and let you know.

As a rule of thumb; all orders ship within 72 business hours from the time it's ordered to the time it's leaving here - during a sale this goes from that to 3-5 days. I do know that all the clutches ordered during the sale will have been shipped by tomorrow, if you don't receive tracking by then and you're in that group give me a call.

As always, if you have any questions, comments, concerns, or ideas you can shoot me an email directly to steve@monsterclutches.com and I'll get you taken care of.

Thanks for the orders guys!

I got your pm and replied to your email.

You never talked to Monster Clutch Co. on the shipping timeline, you spoke with the guys out at Colorado Speed.

If anyone here has any questions on their orders, regardless of who you purchased it through, you can always call us and we'll be more than happy to take care of you.

Dan, your clutch is leaving tomorrow - which is 5 business days from the time the order was received.

Apparently, the email that I posted earlier was from the dealer I purchased the clutch from and not the manufacturer. I was under the assumption that the two were one in the same. I clicked the link posted earlier in the thread to the Monster Stage 2 and ordered it from there. I wasn't aware that wasn't you directly.

My apologies Steve and I appreciate you clarifying.
