Default 3-2 downshift did I hurt something

Hey guys I did the dreaded 3-2 downshift today while going wot. I immediately pushed in the clutch and shifted back to neutral but it did chirp the tires. I pulled over and I didn't have any oil leaking anywhere, valve train was completely quiet and the cars been running fine ever since. Did I just get lucky this time... The car does have Ls valve springs so maybe that saved it? New shifter is def on order

Most likely you are OK, but I would pull the valve covers and check the pushrods to make sure none are bent...

Thanks man I did it once when I first got the car. You think i wpuld have gotten a new shifter by now... but anyway I did check the prs then and they were fine. I'm at school so I can't check them here but as long as there's no ticking I think all should be well, the car seems to have all it's power and runs fine
