My Gto has been acting weird lately, not every single time but at random times the car refuses to go into 2nd or it'll go in then pop out. I took it to AAMCO (unfortunately) and they want $572 to take the tranny out and see what's wrong . I don't have the tools myself to take the transmission out and send it to one of the site sponsors. Does anyone have any clue what it could be? Or what shops in so cal could help? I hate admitting but I don't exactly have much knowledge on transmissions. Any help would be appreciated.
