Default Rebuilding a GM NP440 / NP 833 (A-833) 4spd to go behind and LSx

I have a GM NP440 / NP 833, witch is very similar to a Chrysler A833 4 spd transmission. Has anyone rebuilt one of these so that it will handle about 500Hp/Tq. And how much it costs? Im looking to run it behind a built LQ4 in a 3500lb C10 truck.

For a flywheel it looks like i can use a sachs 1050, and an early BBC style 11" clutch? Any suggestions on clutch selection?

Did you ever get any info on this? Im going to be using a 833OD trans behind a 650hp LS3 in a 2000# car, and have been researching
Apparently if you have teh 80s chevy bellhousing you can use a 99+ heavy duty chevy truck 6.0L flywheel which makes up the .400" distance to get to SBC specs.
Then you can use any SBC style clutch setup. Im trying to verify if this is indeed correct

Yea I read the same thing, it can deffinalty be done, only problem is ive been hearing that the Np833 tranny is pretty weak and poor gear ratios. I ended up getting a muncie M21 for my setup
