Default Daily drivin clutch needed

Need a clutch setup for a daily driver. It's going to be swapped into my 69 camaro. I currently have a stock 5.3 and it may stay stock for a while or maybe a cam swap, but that's a big maybe for now. Maybe ls1 heads. Who knows.

I also have a 6.0 with all ls6 setup, heads, intake but no cam yet. The cam will not be too radicle I hope. But what's a good clutch for this engine also? This may go in my 66 nova.

So how good is a ls6 or 7 clutch setup? If not what should I get for each one? Two different cars both have a t56 waiting.

The stock LS6 or LS7 clutch utilize a SAC-type pressure-plate which uses a mechanism that is intended to maintain a consistent engagement point throughout the life of the clutch. This is great in theory but these plates have a tendency to miss-adjust and this affects clutch function and performance. I know I may be considered biased but I wouldn't put a SAC-type pressure-plate in my own car if I had the choice.

That being said, there are lots of options available. We provide a number of kits that offer great drivability and performance. I have provided a link to our site for the LS based single-disc assemblies below (see the second set of parts listed on the page). Take a look and let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks!!
