Default T56 Slips out of 4th gear

I had a reputable shop install a new aftermarket clutch in my 01 Camaro. They had issues getting it to work properly, in fact it didn't work quite right until I installed a Tick master (now the clutch works great). While driving home from the shop it slipped out of fourth gear. I took it back to the shop, they bled the clutch again and informed me that the problem was not fixed but it was not caused by the clutch work that they had done. They say it is likely something worn out in the tranny, and that the timing of it happening after they worked on it is coincidental. Is it possible that just removing and installing the transmission a few times could cause this? What are the possible reasons that it may slip out of fourth gear? Could it be an alignment issue?
