Okay so I currently have a new clutch. The bad is that its a stock replacement clutch and I dont think it will last long. My setup is in the sig. I am looking for a clutch that drives / rides like stock. I am planning on adding a set of Tsp prc 2.5 5.3 heads with 42lb injectors. So I need a clutch that can handle around 400rwh. Any input would be appreciated.

Out of the two the monster is much better, and if you have a little more to spend a lvl 2 would be perfect. I had a lot of issues with my old ls7 unit, then switched over to the monster lvl 1. Excellent stock like drivability and is supposed to hold the same, if not, more torque than the ls7.

I'm in the same boat you are. I'm bolt on's now, but will eventually be putting PRC heads and a mild cam in my car (around 400rwhp). I'm going with the stage 1 Monster clutch. Drives like stock, rated to 450rwhp, and is only $530 shipped from the WS6store.com. It will be more than enough for my needs. I only go to the track maybe once a year at most. If I had a wilder head and cam package and hit the track more often but still wanted a stock like clutch feel I'd get a stage 2.

I just switched from an aftermarket clutch to a LS7. The LS7 has a much lighter pedal, no chatter and smooth engagement with less drive line lash. It feels like a stock clutch because it is a stock clutch. My car is a DD and the LS7 clutch is much better in traffic/parking lots.

i went with a level 2...lightened flywheel. nice unit...figured that since i would be adding some power down the road that i would go with a level 2 and be done with it...but of course, will i ever be done with it...?

same here, i got the monster stage 2 with light flywheel and stock master cylinder. It drives great in the street. However i cant compare it to stock cus when they dropped the tranny, i found out i had a SPEC clutch in there.

I have the lightweight flywheel and stage 2 monster....drives great. It's a little stiffer than stock especially when you first start to drive it on a cold morning.

I have the Monster lvl two. Takes a little to get use to. It grabs and I kill the car every now and then. Wait until they go on sale. You can get the level 2 for basically what the level 1 cost.
