Sooooo excited. The Bird's been outta service for about a month now. Clutch has been slipping since I bought it, September last year. Would a slipping clutch affect power dissipation in the drive train? I guess I'm just wondering how much faster my car should be and perhaps the "performance increase" to expect. I had a toasted clutch and an awful Hurst shifter with a T handle for the few months I drove the poor thing... :/
It'll feel like a new car, that's for sure. When I first did all my mods we smoked my clutch on the last pull in the dyno. It was still drive able though and I drove it for another 6 months with the old stocker.
Once the new clutch went in and the 500 mile period was over, HOLY ****. WOT in second gear is completely useless, lets put it that way.

Love the MGW in my WS6, so much that I'm going to order one for my GTO that currently has a Hurst Billet/Plus. Unfortutunately the MGW for the Goats is alot more $$ than the one for the F-bodies.

anyone gone from b&m to mgw? Ive got nothing to compare my b&m and im wondering if the upgrade is worth it. Plus ive only missed 3rd once since owning the my car with the b&m. Ive actually missed 4th a couple more times.
I have... B&m was a longer throw which made the effort to get into each gear easier but that's with any shifter. driving with the mgw is amazing the shifts are more precise and the shifter is more solid I push the shifter up from 2nd and it practically finds 3rd on its own much better than the b&M

This shifter put a smile on my face. The shifts are short and sweet, and I'm pretty sure I will never miss third. My ebay shifter my father got me was a JOKE compared to this thing. The shift **** was very nice too
