I want to convert this to a GTO style transmission so that it can be used in hot rod applications.

What parts are needed?
GTO bellhousing
GTO style input shaft
LS1/GTO style front bearing plate
Fbody/GTO style tailhousing

do I need to change out the mainshaft/output shaft?

Anything else needed?

I can retain my C6 input shaft which saves some $.

Still waiting to confirm if I can run the 32 spline SSR mainshaft or the smaller GTO unit.

Here is what I have laying around:
GTO bellhousing
LS1/GTO style front bearing plate
Fbody/GTO style tailhousing
Fbody shift rail (needed for this swap)
