Monster, spec or what??
MAn there are so many mixed reviews. I decide on a clutch then ten people tell me it's junk. I just don't know. My engine builder recommended a clutch that will cost the same as fhe RXT of I include the fly wheel. I've spent too much money into my top end build to go all out on a clutch as well
It is between monster level III with tick MC and maybe one other thing

I currently have a Monster stage 3 in my car. I never ended up racing my car before taking the engine back to stock so I can't really comment of how much abuse it will take. It handled everything I threw at it on the street no problem. I think it is an extremely good clutch for the money.
That being said, now that my car is back to stock, it's coming out. The only problem I have with this clutch is initial engagement chatter. Mine never did go away after the break in period and I followed the procedure word for word. Once you get used to driving the clutch chatter is manageable and mostly nonexistent. I see it as a trade off for the amount of power being made which is a comfortable trade for me. Now that the power is gone it's time to go.

Our Stage 2+ will provide better drivability than a puck-type disc while offering plenty of capacity to meet your needs. It is easily daily drivable, with a pedal that is similar to stock in effort, and engagement that is ideal for street and track use. You really can't go wrong with the 2+. I've got a quick question on the Stage 3. I know it doesn't like to be slipped. My attempts at dumping fail on drag radials of course. I slipped it at the track this past weekend at 5k and it provided good results for my first real time out with a proper setup, 1.77 60'. Of course it needs work, but slipping it isn't going to hurt it, is it?
You don't need a Tick master to run our clutch if you're looking to save some money, but it allows for adjustability and the quickest shifts possible with the trade off of a slightly stiffer pedal and smaller engagement window.

We've had great luck with Monster and Spec. Not so much with the Mcleod. Can't go wrong with Monster or Spec IMO.
We had many 6 speed customers this past weekend running both Monster and Spec clutches at the track and all of them came home with a clean bill of health.

i just wonder about the quality of spec, because they are sooo low priced....it makes me wonder.

is there anything else i should consider picking up wuth the monster 3 clutch? i will be running the steel billit lywheel for this setup.
is there another cheaper MC out there that is compareable to tick? and is a slave cylinder a mjust have? i read that it is for transd w/ troubly with high rpm shifs
no, im allready planning on getting a tick MC. btu the monster slave is an option. i have decided to go with the monster level III w/ 28lb FW, tick master and slave

Good deal, a slave is a good idea as if it fails and destroys the clutch then we will warranty all parts if you purchased it through us...don't hesistate if you have any questions.
