Default Transmission gone after new clutch install

This is kind of a 2 part post

1.) June last year, I was at the track running my 99 Camaro. I had a McLeod RST twin disk, so i was doing pretty heavy dumps for a stock rearend, figuring I'd break an axle before the clutch went. It was a slow night at the track, so we were able do get probably 10 passes in, and on my last pass, I could feel the clutch starting to slip. I make 427rwhp, so i was kinda dumbfounded when this started. By July last year, the clutch was toast. I'm a poor college student, so it took me until November to come up with enough money for a replacement, just so i could get back on the street. Now that I'm down again with trans issues (part 2) I'm looking into a nice clutch set-up. If I fried a supposedly 800hp clutch, will the RXT be the better choice? Or should i try another setup?

I got a used Kentucky Clutch, which is a reputable company here, with only 100 miles on it rated for 450 ft/lbs. Once it was installed, everything felt great again. About a month went by and i was messing around with my buddy who has a T/A on N2O, and when i tried to get it into second, it wouldn't go, so i beat the **** out of it until it did, winnings winning right haha. After i got to the top of 2nd, i let out, due to "obstacles" ahead. At this point i was in neutral, and it would go into any gear, so we slowed down and pulled into a near by car wash. After the car was off for a minute, I was able to get it back into gear, so we took off. From here it started to shake, and the shaking got more violent as the RPM's rose. I have no idea what the problem is here. I plan on sending it to Tick Performance to get a stage 3 build done, once i get the money, but i would like to know what the problem is now, so i could possibly fix it now and send it off to be rebuilt over the winter. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

The RST is not meant for drag racing and heavy slipping. You should have no issues with the RXT though...
