I'm not a huge fan of LS7 clutches in these cars either, but it sounds like it'd be just fine for the OP's application. Doesn't sound like he's doing any launching, really at all.

That being said, I still tend to agree with HioSS. You can get a pretty damn clutch from TDP or Monster for around $650ish with new hardware.

Yea, I loved the stock clutch, so doing no launches and it won't see a track and I'm done modding, served me no purpose, especially when it cost me $525. I liked the monster, but I liked what I read about the LS7 from people who had one.

This application screams LS7. There is not a better fit. OEM quality and stock drivability and it's extremely reasonably priced.
