RAM 980 setup no problems at all until I installed the LS6 intake and then started getting a coolant leak on the back part of the motor which leaked all over the transmission. Could some coolant leaked on the disk and could it have eaten the organic surface of the disk. getting alot of slipping now.?????

It won't 'eat' it, but it will soak it up like a sponge and is very difficult to get off the disc. Probably will need to have new facings put on the disc - give us a call.

Before you do that put the car up and get 2 or 3 cans of brake clean and pull out one of the 15mm bolts on the pass side tranny to bellhousing. put the straw on the brake clean give it a lil bend to the left and stick it in and give it hell. It would work even better if you pulled the trans and hosed the disck off but I have saved lots brake shoes after wheel cylinders leaked on them just by housing themoff. Its cheaper then a new clutch to try it.
