Drop tranny help?

I I lifted my car today, and came to what I may think to be an issue or not. On the instructions from install university and what most people say I need to take the ORY off but as you can see in the pics my pipes are welded. judging from the pics is it in the way of dropping the tranny heard of some people lot needed to take the exhaust off.

I didn't take mine off but it is catted.

You can remove it, push the tranny back, once you get the input shaft off, remove it diagonally downwards towards the front...shouldn't HAVE to remote it. Getting it up again is gonna be fun, but...

Yeah I was reading and they said you run into problems taking it off if you have the stock manifold and y pipes and now that I really look at it, it will clear gonna be a tight fit but It should not be that big of a deal! thanks for the input guys.. gonna tackle the tranny tomorrow and pointers you guys can help me out with? like how did you guys remove the bearing inside the clutch? read that the tool that takes it out dont fit some people break it out.??

I used the loaner tool from Advance auto for the pilot bearing. No problems with it.

Ok so I dropped it and installed clutch. What tranny fluid you guys recommend? Also where do I install the speed bleeder? And how do I use it ? It didn't come with instructions.

Bump on how to use the speed bleeder??? And tranny oil?? Do I use the automatic trans fluid found in autozone??

pics a lil blurred...hope someone chimes in..i will attempt this soon...my monster still otw...been looking at the install university also....have you checked out the install youtube video by the blue knight who is on this forum???? I saw a lil bit of it..very detailed..

replace the stock bleeder valve on the slave cylinder with the speed bleeder. open and close the valve on the end of the speed bleeder. Dexon III ATF.

I too am replacing the clutch and cant find dexon III I read dexon VI can be used? anyone have issues with that?

for fluid use any dex 3 atf. Dex vi is synthetic and wont work with the blocker rings on a standard t56. i'd go with pennzoil synchromesh or any name brand atf.

I am running dex vi for years no issues. And GM put it in the last time they did maintenance on my cousins camaro they put dex vi

I use gm syncromesh smooth, does not breakdown!! stiff cold but great when @ operating temp. remember: does not break down
