can i bleed the master out of the car?

Default can i bleed the master out of the car?

im gonna try and do the drill mod and was wondering any way to bleed the master outside of the car? like if i could open the quick disconnect end to lef fluid out. or do i have to hook it all back up and do it in the car

I tried it. All I ended up doing was making one helluva mess.

I put it back in the car and bled it. Worked fine.

when you bleed it in the car, how did u do it? pump the pedal, hold it and open the bleeder, close and repeat?

Yup. Here's how I bleed (works great for me).

Hold pedal in. Crack valve open, then close valve. Pull pedal up. Pump 10-20 times. Repeat - hold pedal in, crack open/close valve, let pedal up, pump. Check the reservoir every 2-3 cracks of the bleeder.

I'm the nut who drilled a hole in his floorboard so that I can bleed it by myself too. Hole goes right next to the gas pedal.

LOL... I have the pic of where it goes I was VERY close to doing the same thing. I bled it both ways. On the bench and in the car and I have ZERO problems. *knocks on wood now*
