Default Best Short-Shifter

I know everyone has different experiences with different short shifters. I just picked up a 2000 z28 and the shifter in it is garbage. I'm looking to replace it at some point, any good recommendations? A friend of mine has said either a Pro-5.0 or a MGW...

MGW gets my vote. I've missed third once in 2 years.

Factory hurst with a short stick is my favorite buuuttttttt you need the shift stops. I went with a pro 5.0 after the tranny rebuild and have been very happy with it.

I rock the hurst with the WS6store short stick and a C6 ****. Im about to install a tick master but I think after that itll be time for the MGW. Ive heard tons of great things about it. On a side note dckman thats ugly as hell.

Mgw hands down. They are quite stiff at first. After a few beatings it will loosen up.

I always heard and read the hype about MGW. I finally decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did. It really is as great as the hype.

In the numerous F-Body cars that we have built and owned through the years I have found that the Pro 5.0 outlast and outshifts the competition hands down. We offer both but I prefer the Pro 5.0. Throws are shorter more precise and imo it has a more in touch feel with the car than the others.

P.S. the fastest 6 speed 1/4 mile record holder is a turbo F-body with a t-56 and a Pro 5.0 shifter.
