Default Pro 5.0 shifter whine

Jesssssussssssssssss....... that whine!!!!! I assume its normal as I heard they are loud... whine changes with RPM correct? Anyway to quiet this thing down?

Mine didn't whine, almost had a hissing noise , but a cobra bob shifter gasket is apparently the ****.

The shifter itself should NEVER 'whine', they CAN rattle/knock/'jingle'.

A solid one such as a Pro 5.0 WILL transmit more NVH, and also any T56 whine from a bad mainshaft bearing, or any internal bearing problems.
