Default t56 viper mainshaft power rating

I have a 1998 formula with a 408 I built that puts 515hp down and about 480trq to the wheels. its probably damn close to factory weight which is about 3500lbs. I have a strange s60 rear end with 4.10 gears and a monster stage 4 clutch. I just pulled the t56 out and put all billet keyways, steel shift fork with bronze pads and a viper 30 spline mainshaft. I have 15" race stars with 325 mickey thompsons and kind of want to launch at the track around 4000rpm. do you guys think that the transmission with the viper shaft will hold up to that in my car, or should I just continue to roll out from the start. last thing I want to do is break my fresh trans.

Honestly you should be good. I would even say the stock main shaft would probably be fine.

Viper shaft has larger spline count and end, but IIRC the overall diameter isn't any or much larger than regular t56. This was the reason I never went viper parts.

As above, chances are the stock shaft would never pose any problems at that level.

I believe they rate it at around 900rwtq. The factory mainshaft beyond about 600/650rwtq can begin to twist/break over time.
