Default Clutch measurement

Hello all

I've been trying to install my clutch for proper disengagement on my 2002 C5 Z06. I am using a Monster LT1S clutch with a stock slave cylinder.

I am following this thread:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/manual-tr...d-shim-11.html

I have found that my "measurement A" is the same as "measurement B". Therefore I need the opposite of a shim:

A shorter TOB or slave assembly

or

A clutch assembly with lower clutch spring forks.

However neither of these seem possible without modifying my equipment.

Am I doing something wrong? I measured dimension B with the clutch bleeder open.

Did you remove the spring from the slave/throwout bearing so it is compressed all the way?
