Default Will a C5 gm slave cylinder work in an F Body T56?

I ordered an updated gm slave cylinder for my 99 TA from Tick, but they have been awaiting shipment for those slaves for a week now.

They just shipped me a slave cylinder for a C5 and said I could either use it or return it for the correct one.

They said I would have to change my fitting over from my original slave to the C5 slave. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Should I return it and get the f body slave or use the C5 one?

Are there any advantages gained by using the f body slave.

You can simply swap the fitting and it will work fine.
