Default t56 grinding when going into gear

So I've got a t56, thats grinding in 2-6 gears. If i baby it when I'm throwing it doesn't grind.

pulled the fill plug, and about 1 quart of fluid came out of the trans.

Im not sure if the throw out bearing is engaging all the way.... is there way to adjust?
There doesn't seem to be a inspection plate, to watch. This is my first experience with a hydraulic throw out bearing.

Is there suppose to be any movement on the steel braided line going to the throw out bearing, if i grab the line i can move it back and fourth about a quarter of an inch.

you drained 1 qt of fluid out...it holds 4

top it off with new fluid and see if the "grinding" goes away

Mine doesn't grind but the shifts aren't that smooth maybe once In a while I'll feel a grind going into third don't fill it using the plug, measure 4.5 quarts of quality brand fluid and fill it through the top of the trans by removing the shifter
