Default LSX454 to t56 magnum

I first posted this question in the wrong spot, for that I apologize, but I would really like to put this motor (part#19332316) in a 70 Chevelle project but the price is right at my tipping point, And one thing that buggers me is the extra cost Gm wants for the install kit to put a t56 behind it, over the cost of a typical 6 bolt crank LS. The install for the six bolt (part#19301625) is like 930 and the 8 bolt crank for this engine is like $2300(part#19329912) or almost 2 1/2 times as much. Is the only difference the flywheel mounting pattern or is there something else. Anyway around this from a different source?

The scattershield can be sourced as a Quicktime.
Trans. to bell bolts, pilot bearing, slave & 2 slave bolts are easy; 02 F-body parts.
Flywheel bolts are the same, just 8 qty.
The clutch is a good amount; look into aftermarket clutch & flywheel assemblies.
Shop around.

We offer a conversion twin disc clutch assembly with a 8 bolt crank flange.

Do you plan on making more than the advertised horsepower rating GM gives that engine?
