From his comment, and others in various threads, sounds like you need to compress the slave fully to measure correctly which involves "cracking" open the bleeder screw to relieve enough hydraulic pressure to fully collapse the slave and get a accurate reading if I understand his and others posts about measuring.

If Billy said 3 washers vs 4...remove one washer.

I did remove one washer... Spring and all fluid was off and out of slave. It is bottomed out. Billy and i are thinking its the pressure plate itself. Mcleod amd billy are stand up! I am sending it back to them for a free warranty build of pressure plate!

Pressure plate casting is now repoaced. Mcleod is a great standup company and rebuilt it once again for me free of charge. Everything is working flawlessly. Just need more miles to break her in!
