Default Any Drag racers using the Exedy Dual Clutch??

How was the "feel"? We are considering it, and want to know what to expect.

Only if they compared times before and after and could tell me about 3-4.

Nevermind. I'll post the question on another board. Go ahead and lock it.

I have one but have not been to the track yet. I know 3 guys that have it in their Vette and are dropping it hard at 6500rpms without any issues. The clutch is unreal...........................

Will this Exedy clutch work on an F-body?

I would assume, but I didn't ask. The Z06 clutch assy is the same dimensions as the F-body and C5.

But be warned... very pricey ~$2000. Not for everyone.

Try asking on corvetteforum, a bunch of fast guys are using them there. I have an Exedy single.

FYI, Exedy dual is ~1500, includes chromoly flywheel, clutch assembly, pressure plate, fasteners, and comes balanced as an assembly. The single that I bought was $1050 on a GP. Not too expensive when you consider the flywheel and balancing (and it's reputationo). I destroyed my cartek and hated the way it drove so it was time for something better.

I've heard nothing but good about the Exedy setup. What is most appealing is the fact that i'ts leverage point lets you disengage very quickly, and up towards the top, where you want it. I didn't have patience to wait as they were backorderd, so it went with a Spec 3 lightweight, Fidanza aluminum flywheel, and 6 puck ceramic disc. This is working very well, chatter is very little and none if I remember to get off the clutch a bit quicker when cruising around. Rotational weight went from 60lbs down to 40. I love that about it

This clutch is pretty badass. It does take a little pressure and does not slip as easily as the stocker on the street, but shifting it is smooth as silk! For the power these things hold and how well they react on the track, it's worth the money if you can throw it towards a clutch.

We have the Exedy twin discs in stock. You will have to PM me for pricing as we are running a great sale on them right now.
